About Us
The Stigma-Free Society is a Canadian Charity registered since 2010 and our mission is to educate and support young people in their mental wellness journeys. We believe that mental health education should be integrated into all classrooms and we are extremely excited to share our new Online Student Mental Health Toolkit to make this goal a reality.
About Our Student Mental Health Toolkit
Our Toolkit program is made for youth, educators, school counsellors, and parents/guardians, who want to teach and promote mental wellness for Grades 4-7 and 8-12.
In our virtual Student Mental Health Toolkit, educators and school counsellors share documentary videos, mental health topics and personal stories along with interactive components for youth and teens in their classrooms, or at home.
The Student Mental Health Toolkit also contains Mental Wellness Lesson Plans that align with B.C. curriculum guidelines. In addition, there are sections on diverse-ability and inclusion, engaging and educational animated videos and comics, a specialized section devoted to Parents, Guardians and Caregivers and much more!
Our Toolkit is divided into two parts – one section for youth in grades 4-7 and one section for teens in grades 8-12.
Feel free to browse through the toolkit sections below and reach out if you’d like to get access to all of these valuable resources.
